Arnette lived in the downstairs apartment of a family home. She had lived with her parents in this house all her life, but since their death a family dispute arose for the property – she and her husband needed to move urgently. She had always dreamed of a home of her own, but they could not afford one on the 4000TTD monthly household income.
Having heard of Habitat Trinidad and Tobago and the services we provide for low-income families, she applied to us in hope of assistance. With the help of Atlantics interns, Arnette received the keys to her home in time for Christmas 2014.
